Warning On Crocs Footwear
40 people were said to have their Crocs clogs or their look-alike imitation caught on escalators. That’s according to a warning given by the government of Japan urging people to be careful.
The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation, a consumer safety group reported that there were 40 incidents in which people, mostly children, had Crocs stuck on escalators from late August until early this month. A five-year-old girl broke her middle toe and three of her toenails were ripped off after her shoe was stuck on the moving stairs. Six other people were mildly injured including children as young as two. The remaining 33 people reported that their shoes were damaged.
A Crocs Japan spokesperson has attributed the cause of the majority of these incidents to improper use or poor maintenance.

Goodness…those poor people/children! I think I must be the only person in the world who does not own/wear crocs–LOL!
LOL, you’re not alone! I don’t wear them either!
