Keep cool

Avoid the sun from as early as 10am to 4pm. If it is not possible, see Skin care for sun protection tips.
Wear loose and light-weight cotton clothes.
Walk under shades and use underground bridges.
Drink lots of water throughout the day. Water readily passes out as urine so replenish constantly. Thirst is a sign that the body is dehydrated.
Eat, drink lots of fresh fruits and juices.
Eat cold low-fat yogurt or refreshing mint candies.
Place a cold towel (or cold pack) or cold wet tissue over the face or any part of the body for instant relief.
Take a vacation to some place cooler.
Go swimming.
Get a hair cut and feel refreshed!
Go to the nearest mall or library where it is air-conditioned.
