- For hair, a leave-on conditioner or hair mousse can get rid of static.
- Dry weather conditions especially during the cold winter season can encourage static to build up. Apply an effective moisturizer to make your skin less dry so as to reduce the cling. Also, choose clothing made from natural fibers like cotton and flee from fleece, wool and other synthetic materials.
- Add a cup of white vinegar to your wash and rinse cycle. Will soften the clothes too. Then if you use a dryer, set the heat level in the middle range. Avoid setting it to high.
- To reduce static buildup around the house, ues a humidifier.
- Take a good quality fish oil or evening primrose oil (at least 1000mg daily after a meal) or see labels for instruction. The omega-3 fatty acids prevent dried-out skin.
