What Is A Bedspread?

- A bedspread is a covering for the bed.
- Bedspread covers the whole bed by folding over the pillows and usually reaches the floor at the sides.
- For higher beds, a matching dust ruffle can be used to cover the lower portion not covered by the bedspread.
- Bedspread is less fluffy and less bulky than a conventional comforter.
- Literally any kind of fabric can be used as a bedspread.
- Covering with a bedspread can quickly hide an unkept bed out of sight.
