Plasticity - 100 Years Of Making Plastic
The Science Museum in London is celebrating 100 years of making plastics with an exhibition
tracing the use of plastics, its current environmental issues and the development of sustainable plastics especially plant-based plastics.
Exhibition dates: 22 May 2007 to 1 January 2009. Free admission for all.
The museum opens 7 days a week from 10.00 to 18.00 except 24 to 26 December.

Left : This was the single impression mould of 1965 used in the injection moulding of a Tupperware “Mix-N-Stor” container. The plastic material used was polythene. Can you see the finished product? It is yellow in color.
