Types Of Vinegar
- Balsamic vinegar - made from white Trebbiano grapes and aged in wooden barrels
- Apple cider vinegar (raw) - made from apples and aged in wooden barrels, contains the mother, a cobweb-like substance made up of yeast and acetic acid bacteria
- Cane vinegar - made from sugarcane
- Distilled vinegar - made from corn, wheat, potatoes, beets, wood and apples
- Fruit vinegar - made from raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, persimmons, tomatos or apples
- Herb vinegar - usually wine or white vinegar with added herbs such as tarragon, rosemary, sage, basil, mint, dill, garlic or marjoram
- Malt vinegar - made by malting barley
- Rice vinegar - made from rice such as white rice, red yeast rice and black glutinous rice.
- Wine vinegar - made from red or white wine
