How To Dye Cotton With Red Onions

How to use onions to dye a piece of cotton cloth :

1. Peel off the skin of several large red onions
2. Place skin inside a netting bag or fruit bag.
3. Put the bag into a pot of hot water and use high heat to cook for 10 minutes. Use a pot that is big enough to fit the cloth you wish to dye. The cloth material must to be cotton.
4. Remove netting bag from the pot. Place the cotton cloth into the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Switch off heat and let the cloth soak for 1 hour.
