How To Dye Cotton With Red Onions

How to use onions to dye a piece of cotton cloth :
- Peel off the skin of several large red onions
- Place skin inside a netting bag or fruit bag.
- Put the bag into a pot of hot water and use high heat to cook for 10 minutes. Use a pot that is big enough to fit the cloth you wish to dye. The cloth material must to be cotton.
- Remove netting bag from the pot. Place the cotton cloth into the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Switch off heat and let the cloth soak for 1 hour.
