You might have heard before that actress Sandra Bullock revealed that she had applied a hemorrhoid (piles) cream to reduce the fine lines around her eyes and it actually worked. Can that be a good beauty tip?
A haemorrhoid cream that contains hydrocortisone, which is a corticosteroid that reduces itching, redness and swelling, will cause the delicate skin around the eye to become thinner and sensitive, with prolonged use.
Even if the moisturizing ingredients like white petrolatum (vaseline) or mineral oil or even cod oil can fill up fine lines, a hemorrhoid cream isn’t meant for your face but for your butts! Choose products formulated specifically for the most delicate part of your face and don’t experiment with anything else.
