  1. Scripts and purpose are definitely important - when I stay on my script I’m ten times more likely to walk away with a lead than when i wing it. Another important thing is having something that stands out to leave in a prospect’s hand. I’ve used lenticular business cards which really jump out because they morph tow pictures. There are other good choices, too - oversized business cards or very thick ones, tchotchkes and advertising specialties - but thinking it out in advance is key.
