- A recreational vehicle often called RV for short, is a vehicle that is used not just for leisure activities during vacation time, but also as a full-time housing quarter.
- A RVer is someone who goes travelling on a RV while the term “RVing” simply means travelling/living on a RV.
- A RV is either a towable RV, motorized RV or a park model RV.
- RVs are equipped with the basics like electricity, water heater, refrigerator, stove/oven, television/satellite dish, shower, toilet with flush, sofas and beds.
- RVs come in various sizes to suit the different needs of individuals or families.
- Whether used or brand new, RVs are for sale and rent.
- Motorized RV (Motorhome)
A motorhome or a motorized RV is a van or bus-size live-in vehicle that can be driven without the need to be towed, in fact it can even tow a car.
There are 3 types of motorhomes :- CLASS A motorized RV is also known as the conventional motorhome. It is the largest of the motorhomes and looks very much like a bus.
- CLASS B motorized RV is also known as a Camper Van or a Van Conversion. It is the smallest of the motorhomes and is built using a street van with the addition of a raised roof.
- CLASS C motorized RV is also known as a mini-motorhome. It has most of the features of a Class A contained in a smaller unit. It is built on an automotive van chassis and has a cab-over bunk and a rear bedroom.
- A motorhome can be equipped with heated tanks, a BTU furnace, insulation and double-glazed windows for the cold weather.
- Bus Conversion
A bus conversion is luxury coach that comes with all the comforts of home with a touch of elegance while traveling. It includes a living quarter, kitchen, bath and other facilities. - Park Model RV
A park model RV is also called a park trailer. This RV not only looks like a house on the outside, especially with its front porch, it is a complete living quarter inside. It can be custom-built to an indivdual’s specifications.
